This Privacy Policy explains how Gravity Built (“Gravity Built,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit gravitybuilt.com, create an account, download our Gravity Forms templates, or contact us about a project. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Account details: your name, username, email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored in hashed (not readable) form.
- Orders and downloads: the templates you obtain, order records, and any billing details you enter at checkout.
- Forms and messages: anything you submit through our forms, such as project inquiries, including your name, contact details and the information you choose to include about your project.
Payment information: when you make a paid purchase, your payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically: when you use the site we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We also keep a record of file downloads, which can include the date, time and IP address of each download. This information comes from server logs, cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use information

- To process orders and send transactional emails such as account notices, receipts and download links.
- To respond to inquiries and provide project or setup services you request.
- To protect the site and our products, including preventing spam, fraud, abuse and unauthorized sharing of downloads.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To send product updates or marketing emails if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential: keeping you logged in, remembering items in your cart, and securing forms and checkout.
- Analytics: understanding which pages are visited and how people use the site. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics for this.
- Spam protection: we may use Google reCAPTCHA or similar tools on forms to tell people from automated bots.
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site such as login and checkout may not work.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed for them to do so. These may include:
- our web hosting and infrastructure providers;
- Stripe, for payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy);
- email delivery services that send our messages;
- analytics and spam-protection providers, such as Google (Google Privacy Policy).
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, users or the public, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business. Information you submit through our forms is stored on our own website and is not shared with other customers.
5. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the services you request, maintain order and account records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and meet legal and tax requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and protected download storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by contacting us (see below). Depending on where you live, such as California, Connecticut or the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, including the right to know what we collect, to opt out of certain uses, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain.
